1-Aminobenzotriazole is a suicide substrate for cytochrome P-450 and chloroperoxidase
It has been shown to inhibit oxidative drug metabolism in vivo and block ω-oxidation of
arachidonic acid (sc-200770) but not epoxidation. A potentially useful molecule as an
inhibitor of oxidative drug metabolism in biochemical pharmacology and toxicology
studies.
