Abbreviated as PyCIU. Reagent for peptide synthesis. Mainly used for coupling N-methylated amino acids.1 Compared with HBTU, it gives high yield and low racemization.2 Significant epimerization is observed during segment condensation.3 Also used for preparation of coupling reagents for peptide synthesis such as HpyONp,4 HBPyU,5 BTFFH etc.6
