A coupling reagent for peptide and organic synthesis.1,2 Applied in synthesis of  leuenkephalin amide on a solid support suspended in aq. 50% EtOH,2 synthesis of (2S,3aS,7aS)-1-[(S)-alanyl]octahydro-1H-indole-2-carboxylic acid derivatives,3 active ester formation and oxazolone formation by  reaction with Z-Gly-Ala-OH,4  and formation of Fmoc-L-Ala-L-Phlac-OCH2Ph  and Fmoc-D-Ala-L-Phlac-OCH2Ph.5 Also used for fabricating a novel reusable electrochemical immunosensor by immobilizing of 3-aminophenylboronic acid conjugated thiol-mixed monolayer on gold though TNTU as linkage.6
