A powerful, aprotic solvent with high solvency, and low volatility for use in numerous applications including graffiti removal, automotive and industrial cleaning, water borne coatings, and photoresist stripping.1 Used in the formulation for drugs by both oral and transdermal delivery routes.2 Also used as a dermal penetration enhancer for pharmaceuticals.3
